Thanks to this commitment to innovation, the company has developed and launched several new products over the last three years, including; dry cured joints and sliced bacon, marinated and enhanced pork chops, flavoured and fruit topped joints; seasonal joints to target Christmas and summer, as well as roast ready joints with unique sauces, marinades and toppings. Over the years, Callan Bacon has always reinvested its profit back into the business; as a result, the firm now operates a world class facility. A large extension was built in 2010 which trebled the size of the factory to 57,000 feet and positions it as the most modern and automated plant in the country. Looking ahead, this focus on continuous improvement will remain central to Callan Bacon as it seeks to build upon sales by attracting new customers and launching new products.
