The eye on reusability that permeates every part of the process has been key to the team securing such incredible success. 2021 saw the European Union set new criteria for eco-design and circular economy for companies and their products. Currently, German LED Tech produces one of the only LED-tubes that meets these criteria, including efficiency, longevity, reparability, reduction of CO2-emissions, no long transport routes, high quality recycling and implementing of re-usable systems. The pandemic forced new challenges on the company, including severe limitations on being able to visit customers. These visits are crucial to performing any lighting services. Thanks to the unique rental concept developed by the German LED Tech team, the firm’s cash flow has managed to increase even during these difficult times. The end of 2020 saw the hiring of six new sales and marketing managers, and the firm acquired a Swedish company in 2021.
