We were lucky enough to catch up with Frank Fischer about their holistic approach to chiropractic care. Oct20533 Since inception in 2012, The Chiropraxis Fischer has provided care to more than 4000 patients and supported them in achieving a healthier and pain free future. The team treat patients from new-born babies right through to patients who are 100 years plus, with a focus being on American- style chiropractic care combined with osteopathic techniques. The aim of treatments is to establish the original cause of pain in order to deal with the cause as well as treating the symptoms. Founder and Chiropractor, Ms. Fischer has studied in a number of countries, ranging from Sweden and Germany through to Japan, Hawaii and Australia, allowing her to learn a variety of chiropractic treatment techniques, allowing the clinic to be able to offer patients a holistic treatment service. This allows for an individual approach to treatment for each and every patient, allowing The Chiropraxis Fischer to stand out from other chiropractors who often have a very narrow approach to their treatments. Chiropractic & Osteopathy Clinic of the Year - North Rhine-Westphalia “We are a place of normality and calm, a place where not only the body regains its balance, but also the soul and spirit find an anchor.” Frank Fischer shared with us his concerns regarding training for chiropractors in Germany and how it can be difficult for patients to ensure they are working with chiropractors of trust. “A regrettable trend can be seen, as the term chiropractor is not protected in Germany,” Frank Fischer comments. “We have seen a number of therapists settle close by who do not meet the minimum requirements to join a chiropractor association. Patients are unable to recognise which chiropractors are reputable and which are not, we fear that some patients have not received the quality of care they expect and deserve as a result.” The Chiropraxis Fischer is able to demonstrate the commitment and expertise in this field through the breadth of experience gained by Ms. Fischer, the qualifications achieved, and the Chiropractor Association membership maintained. Often new entrants pose little threat to long-standing and dedicated professionals such as Ms. Fischer and her team, their patient feedback and patient after care demonstrates that they stand worlds apart from such new therapists and clinics. When asked about what the future holds for the clinic Mr. Fischer commented that, “Growth isn’t everything. Through the pandemic, we have learned that we have a responsibility to the people in our district, in our city and in the region. We will continue to support our neighbourhood in the future and - as long as the pandemic continues - we will do everything to ensure that our patients are safe in our practice.
