EU BUSINESS NEWS / Q2 2018 5 NEWS , On the 17th May 2018, CUI Global, Inc. announced that its wholly-owned Energy subsidiary, Orbital Gas Systems Ltd. Orbital UK, was awarded a second contract valued in excess of $500,000 for a biomethane-to-grid unit by a major European industrial com- pany. Orbital U.K. was awarded its first contract by the customer, an operator of biomethane-to-grid plants throughout Europe, in February 2017. The new contract calls for the provision of one biomethane-to-grid unit to be delivered in 2018. This latest award underscores Orbital U.K.’s long-standing partnership with the customer that is founded in the customer’s audit and assessment of Orbital U.K.’s technical, innovation, and support capabilities, as well as Orbital U.K.’s successful prior delivery of two biomethane-to-grid units and Icertis, the leading provider of enterprise contract management in the cloud, today announced the expansion of its European presence to three new cities - London, Paris and Sofia. The new offices will expand the company’s pan-European reach as it meets the hyper-demand for its industry-leading contract management platform. Since January 2017, the company has quadrupled its customer base in Europe and tripled its European- based employees in sales and marketing, professional services, and customer success teams. The Paris and London offices will serve as regional hubs for Icertis’ French and British operations. The company also opened its first multi- lingual customer support centre in Sofia to deliver even more value and enhance the support options for European customers.
