EU Business News is proud to announce the 2025 European CEO of the Year Awards.
These prestigious awards honour CEOs who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and transformative impact on their organisations and industries. They celebrate corporate leaders whose foresight, resilience, and dedication have driven companies to new heights.
The European business landscape has seen rapid change, with CEOs navigating economic, geopolitical, and technological challenges. Despite uncertainties, there is renewed optimism for the region in 2025.
European businesses are increasingly focusing on innovation, sustainability, and global expansion, with many CEOs leading strategic investments in digital transformation and green technologies. Many are also building resilience in response to ongoing supply chain issues and shifting regulations, showing confidence in recovery and growth.
In this evolving landscape, CEOs must be adaptable, forward-thinking, and skilled at managing change. Today’s successful leaders are not only adept at navigating trends but also fostering diverse teams and driving sustainability. The rise of CEOs with non-traditional backgrounds brings fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to industries.
Technology, particularly AI and automation, is central to this evolution. With countries like Italy and the UK leading AI adoption, CEOs must integrate cutting-edge technologies to stay competitive. AI is not just about operational efficiency; it shapes product development, customer experiences, and decision-making, making it essential for future business success.
The European CEO of the Year Awards 2025 serves as a platform to recognise visionary leaders who are shaping the future of European business. These awards honour those who are driving innovation, resilience, and strategic foresight in a rapidly changing world.
We invite nominations from across the continent, whether from individuals or third parties, to highlight the exceptional leaders whose actions have had a profound impact on their companies and the broader business community.
Our experienced panel of judges will evaluate all nominees based on their achievements, leadership qualities, and contributions to their industries. The selection process is thorough, fair, and impartial, ensuring that the most deserving individuals are recognised for their dedication and outstanding leadership.
We encourage you to submit nominations for CEOs who have made remarkable contributions in 2024 and are leading their organisations to new heights in 2025. Let this prestigious event be the platform where exceptional leadership is celebrated, and the business community is inspired to reach greater heights.
Best of luck to all nominees!
The EU Business News team work hard in identifying great businesses, driving many of the nominations themselves. We also encourage external nominations from the subscribers of the magazine, online visitors, social media followers, clients and wider circulation. Nominating parties are invited to put forward either their own business or third-party companies whom they hold in high regard.
All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination. Should any firm or individual decline at this point, they are simply taken out of the running. Those who formally accept are given the opportunity to submit additional supporting information to cement their nomination. Although there is no obligation to complete and supply material, we have found that many nominees value this stage, in the process, as much as our research team do.
Our dedicated research team will assess all information presented to them. The team gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources, which are assessed alongside any material supplied by a nominating party or the nominee themselves. The research team casts their final judgment, based on various criteria such as: business performance, longevity, business growth (either sustained or rapid), any significant innovations or feedback from stakeholders.
Once winners are selected, they are personally notified before any public announcement is made, allowing time for any communications throughout the wider business and the coordination of marketing strategies. Unfortunately, not everyone can be a winner; however, all who take part are encouraged to come back next year. Once the press embargo is lifted, details of our award winners will be made public via the website, award winners’ magazine and subscriber newsletter.
We are prepared to offer a range of promotional packages and items to winners of a EU Business News award, which vary from inclusion in the free-of-charge winners’ directory, to trophies, content in our magazine and on our website.
We encourage all winners to publicly announce their win independently in order to gain maximum exposure for their win. Announcements via company websites, social media, via publicly released press releases, and through local and national press are all great ways of maximising the exposure which can be gained from such a great achievement. If you have need of further advice, on how to publicise your win, please feel free to get in touch. We are happy to assist our clients with their needs.
Delve deeper into the achievements of our past award winners, individuals and organisations that have set a high standard in their respective industries. Our previous winners range from emerging talents to established veterans, all of whom have demonstrated exceptional skill, innovation, and dedication. Take a moment to discover their achievements.
